The long wait is over finally for the residents of Islamabad, who can now savour the authentic shopping experience without leaving the city. Hundreds of Islooites flocked to the Centaurus Mall, city’s first genuine shopping mall, as soon as it opened its door for public (last week). Centaurus Mall, located in the heart of Islamabad, is expected to serve as a key shopping destination for the twin cities.
The Centaurus Mall offers quality products in modern, spacious surroundings with the wide range of variety, that would be an exciting experience for few whereas others are delighted that they don’t have to visit other cities for big shopping. “I could only enjoy shopping in a relaxed environment of a shopping mall on my visit to Karachi or Lahore. But now Islamabad city has its own huge shopping mall!” beamed Sadia Rehman, a shopaholic.
Tall, impressive buildings of the Mall comprise of four-storey mall, with around 250 shops, most of which are in opening phases. For the moment, the mall’s ground and first floors have been launched. The Centaurus Mall would also feature a five-screen cinema, supermarket, a food court of international fast food chain outlets and fine dining, wedding lounge, family entertainment, fun city for kids and four levels of parking in the basement, according to Fahad Faheem, manager development of the Centaurus project.

The latest brand that opened at The Centaurus Mall is Al-Fatah superstore,
one of the leading retail chains in Pakistan. Al-Fatah has been offering a
collection of quality products under one roof, ranging from grocery to
crockery, kitchenware to ornaments, garments to jewelry, toys to kids wear,
electronic gadgets to fitness equipments, beauty products to healthcare accessories. The top departmental of Pakistan, serving since 1941, currently
has branches in Lahore and Faisalabad.
Al Fatah is expected to bring significant value to the Mall by introducing
several brands from all genres. “Al Fatah has emerged as one of the most
admired retail chains which has revolutionized the shopping dynamics by
offering a wide array of product lines on a convenient ‘one stop shop’
concept,” said Mr. Irfan Iqbal Sheikh, Director of Al-Fatah.
